The Lassale line from Seiko represents one of their higher tiers of watchmaking.  This piece is no exception.

The case of this watch is thickly plated gold over stainless steel. There is a small area where the plating has been chipped on the rear of the watch, otherwise it's incredibly clean. Crown and onyx cabochon are undamaged.

This dial is interesting, as it's cobranded between Lassale and Paris.  On the back of the watch, there's an engraving indicating a 30th anniversary.  I can't for the life of me figure out what it's in reference to, so it's a bit of a mystery.  If you know, shoot me a note and I'll send you a little gift.

Back to the dial side - there's a lot of subtle class here.  The entire dial is eggshell silver, broken up by changes in depth.  The outer rim is raised and rounded on top, kind of like a speed bump.  Atop that are printed Roman numerals.  The center of the dial has 60 raised dots to track minutes, with every 5 being slightly larger.  The dial and crystal show no damage.

This is what I'd consider to be a "jumbo" watch - one that's a men's size but very thin.  Take a look at the dimensions and you'll see what I mean!

A very cool and mysterious piece from the early 90's.  Running well on a new battery.  Riding a Seiko strap and the original buckle.
