Seiko Lassale Tank | March 1992, platinum plated, classic

This is the third of these that I've purchased for the shop - they tend to go very quickly and it's easy to see why!  

Anyway, this is a polished, platinum plated tank-style case - the proportions are perfect and classic.  There's some additional visual interest created by the bezel steps flanking the top and bottom of the crystal. There are some small scratches here and there on the case, but nothing large or overwhelming.  Crown and cabochon are fully intact with no issues. Crystal is perfect. 

The dial itself is gray and finely textured - it almost looks like hundreds of mini rivulets that meandered down the dial. The texture creates a ton of visual contrast with the polished aspects of the face.  Speaking of...indices are applied, polished batons and Romans, with small printed hashes for each minute in between.  The handset is similarly polished and very sharp.  It's a really great look.  

This is one of my absolute favorite Lassale designs and I'm happy to present this one to you.  It just wears so well. 

Watch is running great on a new battery.  Includes a custom lizard strap and the original buckle.
