Rado went through a whole period where they named all of their watches after colors and animals. It was the 70s though, so cut them some slack.
This example is a Golden Gazelle - the "Gold" in the name indicates that this watch has one of Rado's highest quality movements inside. It's an automatic movement with both a day and date display at 6.
The mix of finishes here is great. The case is a massive, brutalist chunk of steel that's mostly brushed. The top and bottom flanks of the case are polished. Speaking of polished...there's an absolutely sick polished and fluted bezel inset into the case. This helps keep the bezel protected, while allowing the wearer (you) to enjoy the full flutedness of it.
The dial color and finish echos the case - it's silver and vertically brushed. The applied indices are wedge shaped and have black inlays to add depth. The hands follow this design language. The crown is signed and original. The acrylic crystal is clean.
Overall condition is very good. There are some nicks and rubs that you'd expect to see on a 70's tool watch.
Watch comes on its original integrated bracelet, and it feels surprisingly solid for being a 70's bracelet. Bracelet will fit a wrist up to ~6.75".
