Lassale Tank | Elegant, upscale, stickerback

Y'all know I like this little shit, and I am not sorry about it.  Why not?  Because these Lassale tanks are insanely good - slim, detailed, and very premium feeling.  Let's get into it.

This is a polished, gold plated tank-style case with the original sticker on the back. The proportions are perfect, classic, and incredibly slim (only 3.7mm!).  There's some additional visual interest created by the polished bezel steps flanking the top and bottom of the crystal.  Top bezel has a hairline scratch. The brancards of the watch are brushed. Crown and cabochon are fully intact with no issues. Crystal is perfect. 

The dial itself is gold and finely textured - it almost looks like hundreds of mini rivulets that meandered down the dial. The texture creates a ton of visual contrast with the polished aspects of the face.  Speaking of...indices are applied, with larger batons at 3, 6, and 9 and a double at 12.  The handset are gold swords, and the Lassale name is engraved on the hour hand.  I didn't even notice until having the watch for a few weeks, but that's what I love about these - the small details that really make this watch feel premium. 

This is one of my absolute favorite Lassale designs, and the only one I've ever seen in gold.
