Custom Seiko Tank | February 1987, unique, tungsten

This is my favorite Exceline design, and this example is even better because I transformed it into something unique. 

This watch has a tungsten carbide case that's fully polished.  It shows a few small swirls but no scratches. As with most tungsten, the color of the metal sits somewhere between silver and gold - this example is more on the silver side. 

The dial here had its original finish removed, then I coated it in a matte black pigment, and hand distressed the details. This dial is totally one-of-a-kind and I will not produce another with this pattern. Something kind of neat - the handset is two tone, with the seconds hand being silver and the hour and minute made of gold. Very cool little detail on this one.    

While the dimensions are on the smaller side, it wears great on my 6.75" wrist - take a look at the photos.  It's a wonderful example of a great design.

Bracelet will fit up to a 6.75" wrist. Running well on a new battery.
