I picked this watch up originally for one reason - the faceted crystal. This is something that almost no watchmakers do nowadays and it's such a cool detail.
Anyway - this is one of the most fully custom watches I've built. The case here is stainless steel, but instead of leaving the original polished finish, it's been stonewashed. I chose this finish to create some contrast with the dial.
The dial was stripped of its original finish and treated in such a way that it produces a kind of woven sparkle effect. It's kind of hard to describe - check out the photos to see what I mean. The handset is polished silver, but the indices are gold, which adds a neat little detail that you don't see at first.
The crystal here (as mentioned) is faceted - that means it's not one flat plane. On the flanks of the crystal, it's angled down towards the case. Another really cool detail that you don't see very frequently.
Comes on an alligator print strap, and is running well on a new battery.
