Custom Dial Tank | Rado base, tungsten case, sharp

I do a lot of experiments with dial treatments, and when they turn out well, I like to offer them here.  

This example started life as a Rado Diastar Tank.  The case is sharp, angular, highly polished tungsten carbide.  The crystal is sapphire.

The dial was hand brushed then treated with a chemical agent to introduce the oil slick effect. These dials are 100% unique, as it's impossible to recreate the same effect twice. So if you're someone that wants something that no one else has (or ever can have) this is a great option. What I love about this piece is the contrast between the dial and the case.  It's like a lumberjack in a suit - rough on the inside, sharp on the outside. 

Something kind of rare here are the 20mm lugs.  Most watches of this vintage sport narrow lugs, but because we're rolling 20's, you have a ton of variety when it comes to aftermarket straps.  

This watch is running well on a new battery, and includes its original bracelet that can fit a wrist of just over 8 inches.
